Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will travel to stores, oversee the pharmacy, and act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during shifts without overlap.

Requires an active Pharmacist License in the state, an active NPI, and to not be on the DEA Excluded Parties list. Regular attendance, immunization activities, and patient safety are essential to the role.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: Actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues using verbal and written communication
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math to determine dispensing quantities and supplies
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging interactions and choose best course of action
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift, reach, and move items as needed
