Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to ensure robust pharmacy coverage across stores in the district. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, oversee pharmacy teams, and support the Pharmacy Manager with day-to-day operations.

You will contribute to safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. Travel within a reasonable radius is required to support market staffing and district objectives.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and oversee pharmacy operations as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy.
• Support the management, oversight and operation of the pharmacy and pharmacy team.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and counseling following workflows and safety guardrails.
• Provide compassionate patient care, immunizations and clinical services where permissible.
