CVS Health is recruiting a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist shifts across stores in the district, supporting the Pharmacy Manager and district leader. You will ensure safe dispensing, immunizations, and patient care while traveling to sites.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values while covering pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the DPC; serve as proxy during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and guide team adherence to workflow and safety procedures.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager's duties when acting as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care and resolve insurance or medication issues.
• Deliver immunizations to keep patients healthy and support technicians in immunization tasks.
• Manage inventory with emphasis on protecting cold chain products; supervise inventory practices.
