Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to help manage pharmacy staffing across stores in the district. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, supporting the pharmacy teams and ensuring safe, accurate dispensing while delivering compassionate patient care.

Expect duties include immunizations, inventory management, and coaching staff to sustain high service levels across locations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by supporting patient safety, care, and team coaching.
• Traveling within a reasonable radius to cover market staffing and shifts.
• Overseeing pharmacy workflow and ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Serving as Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts without overlap.
• Engaging patients with compassionate care and resolving insurance issues as needed.
• Immunizing patients and coaching technicians to immunize where permissible.
• Maintaining inventory and protecting cold chain products across pharmacies.
