Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to help manage patient care and supervise pharmacy teams across a district. You will cover pharmacist shifts, support the Pharmacy Manager, and ensure safe dispensing and immunization services.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling and immunizing practices.
• Travel within a reasonable radius to fill pharmacist shifts and support the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assist as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts and cover day-to-day duties as needed.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathetic, proactive care and patient education.
