Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader to ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and adherence to policies.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure in the state, ability to travel within the district, and willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Support Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts and oversee pharmacy operations.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assist with immunizations where permissible and coach technicians to immunize.
• Support inventory management with emphasis on protecting cold chain products.
• Comply with federal/state laws and CVS Health policies to maintain patient safety and a safe workplace.
