Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist shifts across the district, supporting the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader. You will help oversee pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate patient care.

You will travel to stores within the district, manage scheduling gaps, and maintain compliance with safety standards and federal/state regulations while striving to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task for extended periods and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Assist the Pharmacy Manager by serving as proxy during bench shifts or as needed.
• Support vaccination efforts and immunization administration as part of clinical care.
• Assist in inventory management and safeguard cold chain products.
