Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district, acting as a Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts and supporting pharmacy teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

You will travel within a reasonable radius, uphold compliance with laws and CVS policies, and contribute to positive patient experiences through counseling, immunizations, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Concentrate on tasks and ensure prescription accuracy and patient safety.
• Provide empathetic patient care and coach the pharmacy team.
• Assist with immunizations and safe dispensing practices.
• Maintain compliant and safe pharmacy operations in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.
