Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to travel within the district, cover pharmacist shifts, and support pharmacy teams. You will ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services while maintaining pharmacy operations across stores.

This role requires an active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and compliance with regulatory standards. Regular travel and weekend availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; support the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient counseling.
• Assist in immunizations and clinical care where permissible; coach technicians and maintain inventory.
