Job summary

CVS Health in the retail network is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will support the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing and patient care.

You will travel within a reasonable radius, supervise pharmacy workflows, assist with immunizations, inventory management, and regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative, patient‑centered team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and District Leader in operations.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and maintain patient safety.
• Provide immunizations and clinical care as permissible.
