Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district and support pharmacy teams. You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader to ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services.

This role requires travel within the district, strong customer service, and a commitment to patient safety, quality, and compliance with CVS Health policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
• Willingness to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Supporting safe prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
