Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district, under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader. You will support patient care, ensure safe dispensing, and uphold CVS Health policies while traveling to stores within the district.

The role requires an active Pharmacist License, an active NPI, and the ability to travel. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours and a competitive pay range, offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled, overseeing the pharmacy and serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Assist in managing pharmacy operations and inventory while maintaining patient safety and privacy.
• Provide clinical care activities such as testing and prescribing where permissible; empower the team to deliver holistic patient care.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws and CVS Health policies.
