Job summary

MH Equipment, following the acquisition of Bohl Equipment, seeks a qualified leader to plan, direct, and coordinate the Bohl Equipment Parts Service operations. You will review schedules, manage staffing, and drive customer satisfaction across Toledo, Marion, and Fort Wayne locations.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in a high-volume parts department with managerial experience, strong ERP/inventory skills, and a focus on service excellence and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of OEM forklift operations is preferred.
• 5–7 years progressive experience in a high-volume parts department with managerial experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Understanding of business and management principles for planning and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, or coordinate work activities and resources for Bohl Equipment Parts Service.
• Review schedules and orders for multiple locations to determine inventory and staffing needs.
• Participate in and/or execute personnel actions including hiring and development.
• Resolve worker concerns with management.
• Forecast goals for pricing, inventory, ROI and margins.
• Coordinate with Service and Sales Managers for timely parts turnaround.
• Maintain balanced inventory for service, wholesale, and retail.
• Monitor inventory to minimize obsolete parts.
• Establish sales and marketing programs for wholesale/retail customers.
• Monitor accounts receivable for the department.
• Direct parts delivery program to wholesale customers.
• Oversee shipping/receiving for timely processing.
• Address customer complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Analyze department layout for efficiency.
• Attend product training to stay current.
