Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a District Manager to oversee operation and execution excellence across pharmacy, front-end, home care, clinics and specialty units within a district. You will drive performance, develop future leaders, and ensure resources are available to improve sales, profitability and patient experience.

You will coach Store Managers and Pharmacy Managers, lead KPI-driven improvements, manage staffing, merchandising and compliance, and execute corporate initiatives while building strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of retail management experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of retail management experience.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 85%.
• Ability to coach and develop leadership teams and drive performance.
• Experience managing multiple retail or pharmacy units (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple Walgreens units within the district.
• Coach and develop Store Managers and Pharmacy Managers to boost engagement and performance.
• Ensure merchandising, inventory, and store assets are well managed.
• Drive customer experience and brand consistency across all locations.
• Lead cost controls, staffing, and compliance with laws and policies.
