Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking an Assistant District Manager – Collections in Pompano Beach, FL. You will lead and coach Operations Managers across multiple collection operations, driving safety, performance, and excellent customer service while aligning with district objectives.

The role partners with cross-functional leaders to build leadership pipelines and ensure operational excellence. You will develop Leaders, manage performance, and support budgeting, labor planning, and fleet

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive operational leadership experience.
• Experience leading multiple operations, departments, or business units.
• Proven ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen with budgets, labor, productivity, and performance.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable Operations Managers responsible for multiple collection operations.
• Promote safety culture, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing teams across districts.
• Drive consistency by enforcing standards and best practices.
• Analyze KPIs to identify trends and drive continuous improvement across the district.
