Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Florida to lead a frontline operations team, including Drivers, Collection Specialists, Lead Drivers, and Dispatchers. You will own staffing, coach and develop employees, and promote a strong safety culture to ensure reliable service every day.

You will monitor route execution, coordinate with Customer Experience, Fleet Maintenance, and other departments, and drive real-time decisions to maximize safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in transportation, logistics, waste management, or related field.
• Strong communication, coaching, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• CDL or experience with Trux/Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Drivers, Collection Specialists, Lead Drivers, Dispatchers and other operations staff.
• Staff operation by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention.
