Job summary

Community Concierge Services is seeking an Area Operations Manager for Valet Trash Services. The role combines evening field leadership with daytime recruiting, payroll, client communication, and district administration.

You will travel between properties and markets, ensure staffing, safety, and service quality, and personally cover routes when needed. We expect you to build a dependable team, manage client relationships, and oversee payroll and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hourly or part-time employees.
• Ability to travel between properties and markets.
• Clean driving record and at least 3 years driving experience for vehicle eligibility.
• Proven coaching and scheduling experience.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train part-time trash collection employees.
• Set clear expectations for attendance, safety, service quality, and communication.
• Coach employees, recognize performance, and address issues.
• Build backup coverage plans and anticipate staffing needs ahead of demand.
• Confirm staffing and respond quickly to call-offs and service interruptions.
• Visit communities to audit service quality and follow up on corrections.
• Coordinate new community launches, including staffing and equipment distribution.
