Job summary

Blank Street is hiring an Operations Manager to lead café operations across Washington, DC and Philadelphia. You will recruit, coach, and develop a network of General Managers, building high-performing teams and scalable processes while driving exceptional guest experiences.

You will own district performance, manage labor and staffing, and partner with HQ to roll out new initiatives. This role demands hands-on leadership, travel, and a commitment to continuous learning in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or a fast-growing consumer business.
• Experience leading multiple locations and developing managers.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly between stores across Washington, DC and Philadelphia.
• Strong operational, financial, and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of General Managers.
• Lead labor planning, scheduling, and staffing strategies across your district.
• Champion exceptional hospitality and uphold Blank Street's standards.
• Own the district's financial performance including sales and profitability.
• Partner with HQ to implement new initiatives and improvements.
