Job summary

Dripping Springs ISD Technology Department is seeking a Network Administrator to design, implement, secure, and maintain the district's network, servers, cloud, and backups. You will manage LAN/WAN, WLAN, VoIP, VPN, and security systems, with strong emphasis on AD/Azure and virtualization.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree preferred and relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+. The role reports to the Director of Technology and is based in Dripping Springs, Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with relevant certifications desirable.
• Experience in WAN/LAN/WLAN, VoIP, firewall, VPN, and network security.
• Strong virtualization, storage, and data center knowledge; AD/Azure administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain district network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
• Maintain core computing infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, storage, and backups.
• Administer Active Directory, Azure, Entra ID, Group Policy, and Cisco ISE.
• Coordinate security patching for servers and network devices.
• Oversee VoIP, cameras, access control, and district telephony systems.
• Provide oversight of network closet power/environmental systems.
• Review specs and advise facilities on technical aspects of projects.
• Develop lifecycle replacement programs for network and data center systems.
• Liaise with vendors to maintain operation and support.
