Job summary

BakerRipley seeks a Multilingual Instructional Specialist to lead district-wide multilingual systems and teacher development for emergent bilingual students. The role focuses on CBLI, LPAC oversight, and ensuring compliance with state requirements while promoting high-quality instruction across the district.

The position involves coordinating professional development, budgeting BEA funds for teacher growth, and partnering with campuses to sustain linguistically supportive practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Valid State Teaching Certification with Bilingual or ESL endorsement.
• Experience leading LPAC processes or district multilingual initiatives.
• Fluency in data analysis; knowledge of Title III regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design district-wide multilingual systems and BE/ESL programs.
• Develop a PD roadmap focused on multilingual best practices.
• Lead LPAC activities and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Collaborate with ARD committees and external partners to support students.
• Provide coaching on language development and content-based instruction across grades.
