Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking motivated individuals for the District Manager Trainee (DMT) program in the Dwight Division serving Peoria, IL. The 44-week training prepares you to oversee multiple stores, drive sales, and foster a positive team environment under ALDI’s values of simplicity, consistency, and responsibility.

The role offers a starting salary of $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus; salary increases are planned to $110,000 in year 2, $120,000 in year 3, and $130,000 in year 4, with daily

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Ability to develop rapport and open communication with direct reports.
• Conflict management and negotiation to reach satisfactory conclusions.
• Strong verbal and written communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Communicates expectations to store management and leads store management personnel.
• Leads and develops the district manager team to grow sales and ensure high performance.
• Supports positive working environment and teamwork among staff.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees staffing and personnel development within the district.
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulations and resolves escalated issues.
