Job summary

MarcJax, LLC is seeking a District Manager to oversee Burger King restaurants in the Lexington, KY market. You will join a large, multi-brand franchisee with 475+ locations under one umbrella and a proven track record of leadership and growth.

You’ll be an active on-site leader, owning the P&L, coaching managers, and driving store-level EBITDA while maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction. This role rewards hands-on leadership and long-term career development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-unit QSR leadership experience managing 4–10 restaurants.
• Burger King experience preferred; other big-box QSR considered.
• Hands-on, boots-on-the-ground leadership style with coaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L across your restaurant span and drive sales, controllables, and EBITDA.
• Be on-shift and present inside the restaurants to build relationships with General Managers and Assistant GMs.
• Coach and develop restaurant leaders to operate more independently and effectively.
• Protect the brand by upholding Quality, Service, Cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Build the bench by identifying talent and maintaining a visible internal promotion plan.
• Drive hourly staffing by partnering with HR and recruiting to optimize coverage.

What You'll Do

As a District Manager, you won’t be managing from a laptop at home. You will be a visible, active leader in your restaurants.

• Own the P&L:Take full accountability for driving sales, managing controllables (food & labor), and maximizing store-level EBITDA across your restaurant span.
• Be On-Shift & Present:Spend the bulk of your week inside the restaurants, building personal, direct relationships with your General Managers (RGMs) and Assistant General Managers (AGMs).
• Coach, Don't Just Manage:Focus on people-first coaching to elevate your restaurant managers into stronger, more independent business operators.
• Protect the Brand:Maintain strict adherence to QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) standards, drive-thru speed-of-service, and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Build the Bench:Proactively identify talent, develop next-up shift leaders, and maintain a visible internal promotion pipeline.
• Drive Hourly Staffing:Partner closely with HR and recruiting teams to optimize restaurant staffing levels and boost local team retention.

What You Bring

• Experience:5+ years of multi-unit Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) leadership experience managing a span of 4 to 10 restaurants.
• Brand Background:Burger King experience is highly preferred, though comparable big-box QSR experience (e.g., McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Hardee's) will absolutely be considered.
• Leadership Style:A hands-on, boots-on-the-ground operating style. You are comfortable working side-by-side with your crew when necessary.
• Proven Track Record:A documented history of developing, mentoring, and promoting internal restaurant talent.
