Public Storage is seeking a District Manager to lead and develop teams across multiple locations. You will drive customer experience, sales strategies and operational excellence while managing assets and vendor relationships.

The role emphasizes coaching, audits, and growth opportunities with internal promotions, equity and stock participation. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with weekend availability and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Relocation: future relocation ability is important for growth.
• Demonstrated leadership in building, developing and retaining teams in retail/service.
• Proven track record of top tier performance.
• Experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets.
• Exceptional communication and time management skills.
• Passion for sales and customer service excellence.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Weekend availability by telephone, and 6 weekends per year during peak season.
• Occasional travel to other markets for support.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, motivate and retain a dedicated team of front-line employees.
• Coach on customer service and sales strategies and drive performance.
• Manage physical assets, vendor management, and maintenance standards.
• Oversee delinquent tenant processes and coaching to reduce delinquencies.
• Conduct monthly property audits and ensure safety and standards.
• Drive business using analytics and implement district-wide strategies.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and team members.
