Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a District Manager to lead operations across multiple sites, drive customer experiences, and grow sales. You will develop and inspire a frontline team while ensuring standards, audits, and vendor management are executed flawlessly.

The role emphasizes strategic analytics, relocation flexibility for growth, and a path to internal promotions across the United States. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Relocation: future relocation ability is very important for growth.
• Demonstrated leadership in building, developing and retaining high-performing teams.
• Proven track record of top tier performance.
• Experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets.
• Exceptional communication and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Weekend availability by telephone.
• 6 work weekends per year required during peak season.
• Occasional travel to other markets for support.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Engaged Team: Recruit, motivate and retain a dedicated team of customer facing hourly front-line employees.
• Drive team with effective communication and coaching on customer service and sales strategies.
• Brand Ambassador & Operational Excellence: manage assets, vendor management and cleaning standards.
• Oversee delinquent tenant processes including auctions by coaching your team to reduce delinquency rates and improve customer retention.
• Conduct monthly property audits and ensure operational standards and safety compliance.
• Provide a welcoming and well-maintained environment to customers through your team, effective facility maintenance and vendor management.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly in a professional manner.
