Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking a District Manager to lead and coach General Managers across up to 8 locations in the Columbus area. The role focuses on staffing, scheduling, turnover, and performance management to drive sales and profits.

Responsibilities include developing annual business plans, executing promotions and store playbooks, and maintaining high standards of product quality, service speed, and food safety. On-site work with competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi-unit teams.
• At least 5 years of proven leadership experience, managing multiple units.
• Relocation to other markets preferred.
• District Manager must be trained and pass a Food Safety Certification course.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach General Managers across up to 8 locations.
• Develop and execute the annual business plan for the market.
• Manage labor costs, food costs and operational controls to maximize profits.
• Ensure compliance with Potbelly policies, safety standards, and customer service excellence.
