Potbelly Sandwich Works LLC in Royal Oak, MI seeks a District Manager to lead up to eight shops, driving sales, profits, customer metrics, and people development. You will coach General Managers, set market goals, and ensure adherence to the Playbook and Potbelly operating procedures.

The role offers a base salary of $80,000–$90,000 per year with bonus potential based on location, skills, and qualifications, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Leads and behaves according to Potbelly Values and upholds the Potbelly Way.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and direction to the shops through people development.
• Responsible for up to 8 locations on average, depending on the market.
• Plans and sets goals for each shop; monitors progress on Sales, Profits, customer metrics, Turnover, and Food Cost.
• Follows the Playbook and standard Potbelly Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead General Managers and develop bench at every level from Shift Leader to District Manager.
• Coach and develop General Managers on staffing, scheduling, turnover, employee satisfaction, performance management, training, and orientation.
• Conduct performance reviews and development plans; ensure HR policies and labor law compliance.
• Develop the annual business plan for the market; execute local shop marketing promotions and Playbook initiatives.
• Lead successful new shop openings and drive market growth.
