Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is seeking a District Manager in Training to join our operations team in the United States. This program oversees a micro-district and prepares you for a future District Manager role, with relocation to an open district as needed based on organizational needs.

You will develop leadership skills, learn SmartStop policies, drive store sales and profitability, and coordinate staffing across stores within the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 2–5 years self-storage or retail management experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboratively and promote SmartStop culture across stores in the district.
• Develop staff, coach, and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
• Support district performance through sales and profitability goals.
• Assist in staffing and scheduling for stores within the district.
• Relocate to an open District Manager position as required after training.
