Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting in Florida is seeking a District Manager to lead Property Managers, drive client satisfaction, and ensure portfolio operations meet KWPM standards and each community’s objectives.

You will build and maintain positive relationships with boards, unit owners, residents, vendors, and staff; monitor portfolios for compliance; coach managers in performance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong managerial background.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex procedures, financial statements/audits, blueprints, regulations or documents.
• Must be proficient with Office 365.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Must react and address emergency situations in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a positive client relationship with the BOD, Unit Owners, Residents, Vendors and Staff Members.
• Monitor properties within portfolio to ensure compliance to company standards; coach Property Managers to meet standards.
• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with the property managers.
• Monitor the cash flow and overall financial health of the client.
• Provide recommendations on capital improvement projects; review delinquencies/collection efforts.
• Monitor key professional service contracts and contribute to procurement for construction, maintenance and supplies.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing a motivated team of property managers.
• Provide guidance, leadership and coaching to property managers and direct reports.
• Communicate policy and procedure changes to clients and property managers.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of state/regulatory statutes and client documents.
• Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Process promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, and terminations as per policy.
• Other duties may be assigned.
