Job description

For our client, we are seeking a District Manager to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within an Energy & Utilities environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop General Managers across all locations
  • Model professionalism and inspire high ethical standards in teams
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent
  • Assess staffing levels and develop succession pipelines
  • Ensure consistent execution of company safety and operational standards
  • Conduct regular audits including inventory and cash controls
  • Analyze financial reports to drive performance and profit optimization
  • Champion customer service excellence and resolve direct customer issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or major
  • 8+ years of successful multi-unit leadership experience with proven results
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of key performance indicators like gross margin and ROI
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and operational knowledge of POS systems
  • Strong planning and financial competence with a grasp of P&L drivers
