Job summary

AMH is seeking a Resident Maintenance Manager (RMM) to lead a district maintenance team and oversee all occupied maintenance operations. This role focuses on delivering timely, high‑quality service while managing costs and asset performance.

The ideal candidate has five years of multi‑unit leadership, a valid driver's license, and a strong background in property maintenance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data reporting is required; scheduling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive operations or multi-unit leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong understanding of property maintenance and maintenance operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data/reporting.
• Experience with scheduling/dispatching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead district maintenance team, including hiring, onboarding, and coaching.
• Oversee daily occupied maintenance operations and work assignments.
• Monitor KPIs, resource usage, and asset financials for cost and efficiency.
• Ensure maintenance standards and safety procedures are followed.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and metrics to the team.
• Coordinate with vendor partners and internal teams.
