Job summary

Journeys is seeking a District Sales Manager to oversee retail store locations in the Cincinnati area. You will guide store leadership, drive sales, and ensure brand standards across the district.

You will train teams, manage performance, and travel extensively to support stores, recruit talent, and implement company initiatives. A proven track record in retail leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Ability to recruit, train, and develop store teams.
• Proven ability to increase sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Achieve district sales goals and profitability targets.
• Evaluate people and performance; develop action plans.
• Staff stores within the district.
• Manage Loss Prevention practices within the district.
• Direct store operations and enforce company policies.
• Recruit, interview, and hire store management candidates.
• Train and promote store employees within the district.
• Conduct regular store visits and communicate with leadership.
