Job summary

Palm Beach Tan & Wellness is seeking an experienced, high‑energy District Manager to lead multiple salon locations throughout the St. Louis Area.

This isn’t just a retail management position—it’s an opportunity to lead people, build successful businesses, and develop future leaders. You’ll partner with Salon Directors to grow sales, develop talent, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across your district.

Qualifications

• Multi‑unit leadership experience preferred.
• Retail, sales, hospitality, fitness, beauty, wellness, restaurant, or service industry leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Experience managing KPIs, staffing, scheduling, payroll, inventory, and operational performance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned district.

Responsibilities

• Sales Performance: Drive membership growth, retail sales, wellness utilization, customer retention, and profitability; analyze trends and create action plans; coach leaders to meet KPIs; ensure promotions & initiatives are executed.
• Operational Performance: Maintain exceptional standards; conduct store visits for coaching; ensure outstanding customer experiences; monitor compliance, equipment, merchandising and operations.
• People & Labor Management: Recruit, develop, coach, and retain Salon Directors and future leaders; conduct regular coaching; build leadership pipelines; foster high‑performance culture.
• Inventory & Business Management: Monitor payroll, labor, inventory, profitability, and controllable expenses; use analytics to identify opportunities; present district performance to senior leadership; balance people, operations, customer experience, and financials.
