Job summary

Jackson Hewitt is seeking a District Manager to lead a 20-30 location district, driving financial results and delivering exceptional client service. You will recruit, mentor, train, and develop store leaders while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across the district.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting, and the P&L, while partnering with HR and facilities. A proven track record in retail leadership and multi-unit performance is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in retail management preferred.
• A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for the District Manager.
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and engage a team, create a culture of exceptional client service and operational excellence.
• Must be able to hold an EFIN.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral), solid planning and organizational skills, a strong understanding of the financial aspects of the retail business and prior multi-unit P&L responsibility (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage local P&L, recruiting, staffing, scheduling, store setup and operations.
• Ensure safety and compliance of assets, clients, and employees through store visits and training.
• Build and coach a high performing team and develop talent for movement within the organization.
• Provide strategies for retention via development plans and high morale.
