Job summary

Supreme Maintenance Organization (SMO) invites applications for the District Manager – Janitorial Operations (Georgia District). This role leads multiple accounts with a focus on profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction across the district.

You will coach Account Managers, manage budgets, and drive staffing, training, and performance. Travel throughout Northeast Georgia is required, with a strong emphasis on delivering consistent service excellence.

Qualifications

• Five years of janitorial management experience or equivalent facilities-services management experience.
• Experience leading and motivating managers and ops teams.
• Experience scheduling labor and controlling labor costs.
• Strong customer-service and relationship-management skills.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read service specs, maintain records, prepare reports, and monitor labor and supply costs.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel for business reporting.
• Ability and willingness to travel across the district.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend operational goals and objectives for the district.
• Work with Account Managers to develop and maintain job budgets.
• Ensure accounts meet or exceed profit objectives.
• Monitor labor, equipment, supply, and material requirements while controlling costs.
• continually evaluate procedures, methods, and equipment to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability.
• Provide leadership and oversight to Account Managers and operational support personnel.
• Ensure services and work orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Ensure work meets SMO quality standards and customer expectations.
• Support quality-control processes and inspections.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in good working order.
• Monitor timekeeping and payroll reports and ensure corrections are completed.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate Account Managers and other personnel.
• Maintain a training program that promotes high performance and develops future leaders.
