Job summary

Gatesville ISD Technology Department is seeking a Computer Technician for the 2026-2027 school year in Gatesville, Texas. The role provides timely technology services to campuses and admin, installs and maintains computer equipment, and responds to work orders by diagnosing and repairing hardware.

The position is nonexempt, 226 days, and reports to the Director of Technology. Education includes a high school diploma or GED, with a technical degree or certifications preferred, plus a valid

  • Technical degree or similar is preferred.
  • Technology industry certifications are preferred.
  • Clear and valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support across campuses and administrative staff.
  • Install and maintain computers, printers, Chromebooks, iPads, projectors, and network equipment.
  • Diagnose problems and repair hardware and software.
  • Respond to work orders and maintain records of preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure technology services support instructional goals.
