Job summary

Gatesville Independent School District seeks an on-site IT Technician to deliver timely technology services across campuses. The role includes installing and maintaining computer equipment, network cabling, and software applications district-wide, and responding to work orders by diagnosing and repairing hardware.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a preferred technical degree, and valid driver’s license, with experience across Windows, Chrome OS and Apple devices, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or similar preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Experience with Windows, Chrome OS and Apple devices is expected.

Responsibilities

• Complete district-wide Helpdesk tickets and assist end-users to resolve problems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computers and peripherals, network cabling, and equipment.
• Install and repair printers, Chromebooks, iPads, scanners, projectors, interactive boards and related devices.
• Maintain data communications circuits and equipment and assist during testing windows.
• Provide support during professional development sessions and events.
• Help staff with logins and passwords and maintain records of maintenance.
