Job summary

Derry Area School District is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to serve District-Wide PK-12. The role reports to the District Technology Director and focuses on network, hardware, system administration, and user support.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, troubleshooting Chromebooks, and supporting two monthly school board meetings and related events. This is a 12-month, at-will position with full benefits and a salary range of $47,500–$51,500 depending on education and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or 3+ years experience preferred.
• Associates Degree acceptable with experience.
• Familiarity with Chromebooks, ChromeOS, Google Suite, Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users and maintain instructional hardware and software.
• Map, install, and maintain network, sound, and security system wiring.
• Install, maintain, and repair computer equipment and peripherals.
• Maintain asset records, update inventory and service databases.
• Troubleshoot Chromebook issues and Windows-based systems.
• Manage large groups of Windows-based computer systems.
• Manage and install server-based IP security cameras.
• Assist with ticketing system response and completions.
