Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience applying federal, state transportation rules, regulations and policies.
• Experience in budget development and financial management.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience managing district maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and management for assigned operational programs and staff.
• Develop and administer budgets and strategic plans and monitor to achieve objectives.
• Coordinate the district Maintenance Program, Roadside Program, Pavement Management Program, Maintenance Contract Program and Performance and Reporting Program.
• Provide leadership, coordination and support of the District Emergency Response and Severe Weather Programs.
• Represent VDOT on internal and external committees and present reports.
• Communicate with stakeholders and respond to concerns from customers.
