Job summary

The candidate will forecast expenditures, lead budget processes, and coordinate with customers on concerns while supervising pavement crews, safety programs, and emergency operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to gather data, maintain accurate records, conduct research, and create reports for personnel, equipment and materials.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
• Ability to schedule, plan and monitor work activities.
• Considerable experience with highway construction and maintenance equipment, materials and methods.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and plan work within a budget and manage cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, deliver and operate maintenance programs within schedules and budgets.
• Lead budget forecasting and monthly expenditure tracking to stay within allocations.
• Receive, investigate and respond to customer concerns and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Direct pavement and sign marking crews and ensure schedules meet deadlines and budgets.
• Oversee emergency operations, safety programs and incident management.
• Manage inventory, IMS transactions and supplier/contract requirements.
• Inspect roads and prepare cost quantities for pavement schedules.
• Prepare and submit reports to support maintenance operations.
