Job summary

Yamaha Golf Car (YGC) seeks a District Sales Manager to lead Fleet Sales in Virginia and North Carolina, working with the Regional Sales Manager to hit retail/wholesale targets for new and used units, parts, and accessories. You will develop dealer strategies, forecast budgets, and travel extensively to grow the Yamaha network.

The role requires 3+ years in field operations or retail sales, a Bachelor's degree, and relocation ability. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience in field operations or retail sales.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Proficient computer skills (Excel; Word; PowerPoint; MS Outlook).
• Extensive travel is required.
• Ability to relocate is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business consultant to the dealer to meet market demand and goals.
• Develop rapport with dealership staff and improve dealer performance.
• Educate dealers on sales programs to maximize unit and accessory sales.
• Provide feedback to Regional Managers on market trends and competitive activity.
• Promote Yamaha products at dealer shows and district events.
• Monitor dealer facility and compliance with standards.
• Manage documentation for dealership setup, relocation, cancellation, buyout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
