Job summary

WM is seeking a District Fleet Manager to lead fleet operations and maintenance at the Kettleman and McKittrick Landfills. You will guide cross-functional teams, drive safety performance, and deliver data-driven improvements to profitability.

The role requires coaching and process improvement skills, with relocation assistance available and proximity to Kettleman City, CA. You will be part of a team focused on best-in-class safety and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of prior fleet/operations experience.
• Valid driver's license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and reliable fleet operations and maintenance.
• Manage maintenance managers to ensure performance and cost focus.
• Review capital equipment requisitions in line with corporate guidelines.
• Ensure vehicle management systems are effectively utilized.
• Ensure compliance with WM’s safety and operational standards.
