Job summary

Redwood City School District seeks a Director of Fiscal Services to lead the district’s budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting functions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting/finance/related field. Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting/budget/fiscal management experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience required.
• Experience with LCFF, SACS reporting, interim reporting, multi-year projections, and district budget development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs development of the District’s annual budget and five-year projections.
• Prepares and monitors enrollment, ADA, and LCFF revenue projections.
• Oversees financial reporting and compliance with CSAM, GASB, Education Code, and federal guidance.
• Manages year-end close, audits, and external reporting.
• Directs internal controls, cash flow, and use of Frontline ERP.
