Berkeley Unified School District seeks an Executive Director of Fiscal Services to lead the district's financial operations, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. You will oversee payroll, accounting controls, and financial analyses for the Board of Education and district management.

The role requires strong expertise in GAAP, GASB, and public finance, with proven leadership of a large finance team and success in implementing fiscal plans that align with district goals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or closely related field.
• At least seven years of financial and accounting experience, with five in supervision/management.
• Master’s degree in Finance or MBA preferred.
• CPA/CIA/CMA are desirable certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, control, and direct the Fiscal Services department and related budgeting activities.
• Oversee payroll operations, benefits, and related tax reporting.
• Develop long-range financial forecasts, analyses, and reporting for the Board and management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB and state regulations.
• Lead staff development, performance, and ensure district financial integrity.
