• Three years of work experience in emergency management planning required; school district experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of emergency management procedures and SRP requirements.
• Ability to interpret NIMS, state/local documents and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and evaluates Emergency Operations Plans and campus safety plans.
• Coordinates district-wide crisis response planning and training.
• Oversees drills, audits, and safety compliance with TEC and TEA standards.
• Coordinates with local emergency responders and partners to enhance emergency response capabilities.
• Prepares and manages contracts, grants, and external funding related to emergency management.
