Job summary

Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District is seeking an Emergency Management Coordinator to lead the district's emergency planning and safety initiatives. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the EOP and campus-level crisis plans while coordinating response training for staff and substitute teachers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or five years related experience required.
• Three years in emergency management planning; public school experience preferred.
• Incident Command System Certification (ICS-100–400, 700, 800) strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SRP procedures and district emergency frameworks.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulations governing emergency plans.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and evaluates the district's Emergency Operations Plan.
• Coordinates district-wide crisis response planning and training.
• Coordinates and delivers emergency response, safety, and security training for staff.
• Coordinates drills and exercises for all campuses and facilities.
• Oversees district safety operations and external partnerships.
