Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, Inc. in Dunwoody, GA is seeking an experienced District Recruitment Manager to lead donor recruitment and develop annual plans that meet district blood collection goals.

You will coach a team of Donor Recruiters, expand community partnerships, manage drive operations, and collaborate with district leadership to ensure a reliable blood supply for local hospitals and patients. On-call availability is required, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams while achieving performance goals.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Goal-oriented, proactive approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and business software applications.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to meet LifeSouth's driver eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the district's donor recruitment team, establishing clear performance expectations and accountability for results.
• Develop and execute annual recruitment plans and strategies to achieve district blood collection goals.
• Monitor recruitment performance, blood drive projections, and collection goals, implementing corrective strategies when needed.
• Identify and secure new blood drive opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing sponsors and community partners.
• Oversee community outreach initiatives designed to increase awareness of blood donation and expand LifeSouth's presence throughout the district.
• Manage donor recruitment operations, including staff scheduling, drive management systems, and recruitment activities.
• Collaborate with district leadership and corporate departments to address operational needs and support district objectives.
• Oversee employee training, development, and performance evaluations in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Represent LifeSouth at community events, organizational partnerships, and media opportunities.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, exceptional customer service, and continuous improvement.
