Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a Donor Recruitment Representative for Valdosta, GA to plan and schedule blood drives, coordinate publicity, donor recognition and education.

The role involves managing blood drive accounts, developing new ones, meeting monthly/quarterly/annual goals, scheduling drives, and recruiting on-site donors to meet projections. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Two years of sales or marketing experience preferred.
• CDL holders preferred; additional compensation may apply.
• Proficient with computer software applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned blood drive accounts
• Work to establish new accounts as directed by management
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual collection goals
• Schedule blood drives and determine accurate projections for each drive
• Recruit on-site as necessary by actively encouraging donations from potential donors in order to meet daily projections
• Prepare and deliver promotional materials while coordinating with Corporate Marketing & Recruitment staff as needed
• Develop rapport with blood drive chairperson of assigned donor group
• Effectively coordinate blood drives and handle concerns as needed
