Job summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking a District Discovery Program Coach in Cincinnati, OH to focus on player development and talent identification within the local soccer market. The role is hourly non-exempt and may require varying schedules to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include supporting Pre Formation development, coordinating with the RDP, and aiding in recruitment for youth groups U9–U12 while maintaining records and promoting the club’s standards and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Broad soccer related background.
• US Soccer C Coaching License or higher required.
• Minimum 5 years of coaching experience.
• Willingness to work Monday and Friday evenings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Regional Development Program on Pre Formation player development and identification in Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky.
• Support technical operations of Regional Discovery training programs, including player identification and recruitment for U9–U12.
• Regularly assess performance and skill development for each Discovery player via evaluations; support opportunities outside the Academy as needed.
• Contribute to implementing the Club Performance Plan and uphold club knowledge and work ethics.
• Pursue educational opportunities to grow as a coach and support club development.
• Maintain positive relationships with the public and youth soccer partners to enhance brand and community engagement.
