Job summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking a Regional Discovery Program Coach to support player development across the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky region. You will deliver supplemental soccer instruction, identify rising talent for the Academy, and participate in coaching education within the local market.

You will collaborate with the Regional Development Program and manage recruitment records for U9–U12, while fostering community engagement and promoting the club’s standards.

Qualifications

• Broad soccer related background.
• Proven ability to organize, communicate, and effectively deliver soccer-specific content with both practical and theoretical knowledge.
• US Soccer C Coaching License or higher required.
• Minimum 5 years of coaching experience.
• To be able to work Monday and Friday evenings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Regional Development Program (RDP) on Pre Formation player development and identification; lead curriculum in Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky.
• Support the technical operations of Regional Discovery training programs; recruit for U9–U12 and manage recruitment database and records.
• Regularly assess performance and skill development for each Discovery player through evaluations; support development opportunities beyond the Academy as needed.
• Work toward implementing the Club Performance Plan and set the standard for knowledge and work ethics.
• Seek educational opportunities to grow as a coach and aid club development.
• Maintain and develop positive relationships with the public and youth soccer partners to enhance brand and community engagement.
