Job summary

ISH Dining Services is seeking a District Manager to oversee multiple accounts in ORWIGSBURG, LANCASTER, WILLIAMSPORT, and WILKES BARRE. You will lead Account Managers, drive adherence to policies, and ensure food quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

You will develop budgets, monitor reports, and coordinate with corporate support to meet district goals. Travel to facilities is required to maintain relationships and drive program excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Specialized training in dining services management and nutrition is desirable.
• Must successfully complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Self-starter, capable of leading and supporting a team in a diverse environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate and live in the assigned market; criminal background check required.
• Knowledge of nutrition, dining services program finances, and ability to interpret a nutrient analysis spreadsheet.
• Two years experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision is desired.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop performance; support managers’ professional growth.
• Manage, supervise, and evaluate Account Managers across facilities in the district.
• Develop and manage district budget and business plan; attain financial goals.
• Maintain staffing levels and oversee fair enforcement of policies and CBAs.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and food quality standards; oversee food preparation and serving.
• Build client relations and drive account retention; participate in contract negotiations and sales activities.
